Grade 6- we learned a new concept today: negative integers (numbers). Please view the following video, especially the last half, start at minute 5 if you would like to review tomorrow's lesson with your child.

Spelling test and questions are on next Tuesday (unit 3)

In social studies we just finished an audio book called Hana's Suitcase, about a young victim of the Holocaust. It isn't graphic but very thought provoking. The website below is a Canadian production and the students will certainly enjoy the interactive components. The movie is available at the library and online (I found it for free last year but couldn't find it as easily as I thought I could for the blog!).
