Today we started a Mind's Eye for art they are looking great. They are due on next Thursday, remember, they must have the flag of one of these countries: Switzerland, Italy, Great Britain (the nationalities of the Banner in the Sky characters who have the Citadel in their mind's eye), students can also do the Canadian flag.  See images below, or attached.  Ok, I am very proud of myself for getting this inserted onto my blog! Yes, I know the Italian flag is backwards, my Photobooth app does that...

ABSENT STUDENTS:
Please get these three assignments done for Monday:

1. Read chapter 10 and 11 (as far as the break on page 146) of Banner in the Sky. Please have your child read the chapter, or read it to them. They will also need to write out the plot for these two  chapters. WE found about 6-9 major points to mention for each chapter. The vocab words are not as important if they could please get the chapters read and the plot.

2. Test them on their 4 x tables, they need it done in less than 15 seconds, please record their time in their agenda.

3. The eye art, as described above. We used half a regular piece of paper.

Today we had a great bullying presentation from students in this class
and they worked very hard on it and it look them a long time to work
on it , it was FANTASTIC.

School is out at 12:30 tomorrow.

Today we had a RCMP officer come and talk to us

about bullying, including cyberbullying.  Bullying is very bad and no one 

needs to get bullied because there is help. Contable Park is awesome.

Banner in the sky  assignment is now stretched to friday, there isn't more class time for this, it is now homework.

Fundraising Goal is $175/Student

Each student will have to raise $150 on the raffle. Any further deficits will have to be made up through the "bottle bring in" or the bake sale we had in December.

Deficits, after that, are made up through a cheque payable to the school.

Paintball and Trail riding are extras that will be paid for by participating students.
