FABULOUS Field trip to the Airport via the greenbelt and Columbia wetlands! Thank you so much to our volunteers- Sally, Chris, Hannah, Ann, Eleanor, and Heather. Without them it could not have happened.

Tomorrow
9 a.m. B.V.E. Assembly all grades in attendance, grades 4-7 will receive honour roll/work ethic awards. Grade 7 awards (5 of them only). No slide show except of art as students and parents arrive.

at 11:50 a.m. tomorrow is our potluck! Please send something for your child to share! We have fridge in the PAC kitchen if your item needs to be refridgerated. No desserts please, BECAUSE...

At 2 pm we are making ice cream and smoothies (on a bike)!

District Field is tomorrow at CPE. Students must be here for attendance at 8:30 and then  head to the RSS Bus Stop to catch the bus to CPE. Be in your gym strip and have your water and snack. WE will be back at 11:50 a.m.

Today we had an excellent presentation by Nadia MacLaren, SD 19's Aboriginal Education Coordinator. She talked about Canadian Residential Schools and the Recent Truth and Reconciliation Report that was just presented in Ottawa. The students learned a great deal and were very respectful with great questions.
