No need to buy everything new. Used supplies from previous years are best.

Binder                          1                        1.5 inch spine, with at least one pocket on the inside

Dividers                       4                        for binder, with tab to write subject on, OR TABS in binder

Plastic Pockets            1                        clear full page pouch with 3 holes that can go in the binder

Glue Sticks                  2                         glue sticks, label with student name

Scissors                        1                         pair, medium or full size scissors, label with student name

Kleenex                        1 box                  to share in the classroom

Scrapbook                    1                         large, recycled manila paper inside, the cheap ones are fine

Protractor                      1                         plastic, standard size, no need for a complete math set

Earphones                     1 pair                  or ear buds, used is good, label with name, put in ziplock bag

Playing Cards               1                         deck with all cards (joker not necessary), used is fine

Cheap pencils & pencil crayons often break & are frustrating for students, buy higher quality.

Exercise notebooks can be labeled one for JOURNALS and one for SPELLING.

The binder will need sections for L. Arts, SCIENCE, SOCIALS, and OTHER, label accordingly

Divide the looseleaf among the 4 subjects listed above.

Plastic Pocket goes at the back of the binder.

Duotang labeled MATH (empty, no need for paper in it).

I will give each student a ziplock bag to put their extra supplies in (erasers, pencils, etc) and I will keep it behind my desk for them to access throughout the year when they need to restock.
